Tilda's Town Challenge #43 - Anything Goes

What a great time of year!  There are hints of the warmer weather to come and yet reminders that it's still winter.

Spring always reminds me of Easter!  What fun the Easter egg hunts used to be.  Does anyone do that anymore?  Well -- Tilda does!!!!!!!

She is just beside herself jumping for joy at the prospect of finding that special egg that has the prize.

Happy Easter Tilda was colored with Copic Sketch markers.
The designer paper is from an old spring DCWV tablet.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Hooked on Crafts.
The pink spikey flowers are from Melissa Frances Embellishments.
The butterfly clip is from my stash as is the checked ribbon.
The card base is Stampin' Up Bashful Blue.

Now you can see why Tilda is jumping for joy.  She found that special egg!!!

The Easter Egg is from Magnolia's Easter Collection 2009 and is colored with Copics.
The grass is cut using Doohickey die Grass.
The sentiment is from Gina K's Easter Blessings stamp set.

Here's hoping you have a wonderful Easter and maybe you will find that "special egg".
Thank you for stopping by and spending some time with me!
I am entering this card in Tilda's Town Challenge #43 Anything Goes.

Last of February Birthday Cards

While getting pictures ready of my early March birthday cards for the Magnolia-licious birthday girls, I realized that I had not done a post showing the last two cards from February :(  I hope that by now the ladies have received their cards and are enjoying them.

The first one is Tilda with Slingshot.

She is just too cute in her summer shorts and getting ready to fire her slingshot.
She is colored with Copic Sketch markers and mounted on Spellbinders Floral Ovals.
The ribbon and pearls are from my stash.
The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The sentiment was computer generated and printed on Spellbinders Labels fourteen.
The green cardbase is from Stampin' Up.  I don't remember where the designer paper came from.

Here are the birthday wishes that Tilda used her slingshot to "sling" to Lani Almero.
All the shapes were cut with different Spellbinders dies and were all computer generated.
I don't remember which tablet the designer paper came from.

The last card is Joyful Tilda doing what she loves best - serving tea and cookies.
For birthdays she goes with cupcakes!

The pink card base is a Stampin' Up paper.  The designer paper is from an old stack of birthday papers I had.
The sentiment is from Lockhart and is stamped on a die cut tag from Spellbinders.
The cupcake brads are from my stash.
The ribbon is also from the stash.
Tilda was colored with Copics and mounted on another  Spellbinders die cut.

This is another piece of the birthday collection paper.
The array of goodies is Magnolia's Baked with Love image.  I LOVE that image!!  I stamped it on Cryogen white and cut it with a Nestabilities Classic Ovals die.
The sentiment is a Lockhart stamp on Nestabilities Labels Fourteen.
Enjoy your birthday Gloria Jean Dawson!

Thank you all for stopping by and enjoying some cupcakes with our birthday girls.
