July Mingle Card

IF YOU WANT TO BE SURPRISED, DAWN KUHN, DON'T LOOK!

The theme for the July Mingles is Patriotic or Red/white/blue. What a fun color combo to work with!!
Challenge #61 at Tilda's Town Challenge this week is "Anything Goes".  Love that challenge!

I used Tilda with Daisy for the image and colored her with Copics.
The card base is Stampin' Up Brilliant Blue, layered with GP 110 white and a gorgeous red and white design paper from lily bee design Handmade 6x6 tiny tablet, a gift from my friend Lillian Abrams.

The ribbon is from my stash.  The roses were from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Tilda is mounted on SU Brilliant Blue cardstock.  Lacy Squares from Spellbinders was used to cut the image panel.  The image is popped up on SU dimensionals.

Here is the open view showing the easel panel.

I lined up the design on the paper and the red ribbon so they would match.  I added some tiny roses to help keep the front in place when opened.  The dark sentiment panel can be easily written on with a silver or white gel pen.

I am entering this card in the Tilda's Town Challenge  Anything Goes this week.
It will also be my July Mingle card which goes to Dawn Kuhn.

Thank  you for stopping by and sharing the clean, crisp look of red, white and blue with me!!

Rest of June Birthday Cards

I hope that by now everyone on my June birthday assignments has received their cards.
Christmas Eve Tilda works for any gift giving occasion.  And she is perfect for this birthday card.
She is colored with Copics, mounted on an oval and scalloped oval cut with Nesties dies.

The flowers are new chrysanthemums and sweetheart blossoms from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The ribbon is from my stash.
The papers are from Stampin Up and my friend Lillian.

The inside is quite plain.
The Classic Oval and Scalloped Ovals were cut with Nesties Dies.
The little blossoms were from WOC.

This card went out to Lisa Streeff.  Happy birthday, Lisa!

Tilda in Cotton Dress is such an elegant looking image.  She was colored with Copics and mounted on a Spellbinders Floral Oval.

The flowers and chandelier beads were from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The rhinestones in the corners were from my friend Lillian.  The tiny gems on her crown were from my stash.

The papers were SU and Magnolia-licious Once Upon A Time collection.

The sentiment panel was cut with Nesties Labels Three.

The flowers were from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The rhinestones were from my friend Lillian.

Happy Birthday, Brenda Schonig!

I hope you have enjoyed looking at the cards.
