My friend and Stampin' Up! demo, Debi's birthday was the end of August. She was away for a couple Sundays and I didn't get her card done on time. She received it very late, but loved it anyway!
I had decided to do an easel card, but did not want the front to be part of the easel display. I glued the dp background only at the top and bottom edges so it would bend more easily when the card was opened. The flowers had to be placed so they would bend with the dp.
Tilda was colored with Copics -
Apron - BG13, 11, 10; Blouse - R11, 12; Shoes - E43, 44, Crystal Effects; Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts; Cardstock is SU Soft Sky and Blue Bayou; Tag was cut using Magnolia Tag die cut
Stove - C7, 5, 3, 2; Tea kettle - B39, 37, 34, N1; Oven mitt - B37, 34, 32; Shelf and accesories- E29, 25, 53, YR02, 00, B0000, R08, E0000, B97, 95, 91; Kitty - Y26, 23, 21, E25, YR01; The tablecloth was paper pieced. Lace B0000; Table - E29, 25, 53; Tilda - Dress/pinafore - Y26, 23, 32, E97, 95, 93; Shoes - E71, 74, 79, silver glitter pen. The cake and muffins were cut from dp. The cake was covered with Crystal Effects and Pearl Pen White drops. The spatula was from Magnolia charms - Yummy for Your Tummy
I used very stiff clear plastic strips to make the images stand up. You do have to bend them up after opening the card. I couldn't figure out how to make them pop up on their own.
The shelf and stove are on dimensionals.
The rug is 3 layers of cs cut with my Nesties petite scalloped ovals.
Thanks for stopping by and sharing Debi's card! Have a blessed day.
