Inventory Challenge # 75 - Easter Bunny, Lamb

After a very long time being away (just over 2 months), I planned on having my card for this week done for Friday morning. Sooooo now it is Friday evening. I'm just a little behind. I didn't realize how weakened my immune system was from the triple bypass I had the end of January. I awoke to a sore throat Wednesday morning. It just wiped me out for 2 days. I am feeling better now!!

Our theme for Inventory Reduction Challenge #75 is Easter bunny, Easter lamb (feature an animal). I chose Tilda and Her Bunny as my main image. What is more "springy" than tulips along a pathway? I built a spring background using the Open Gate and Tulip Walkway stamps. I joined the walkway to the path at the open gate to look like a garden path. Then I added some flower stickers from Jolee's Boutique over the stamped flowers by the gate. There are a couple of Chicks, Tilda's Birds and Bees that I added to complete the scene.

The designer papers are from My Mind's Eye Wild Asparagus stack. The ribbon is from a clearance rack in WalMart.

This is an unfinished easel card which I will finish up in a couple days.

I am so happy to be back coloring and making cards again!! Sure seems longer than 2 months that I've been gone.

Thanks for stopping by and looking at my Easter card.  Be sure to check out my team mates' cards too.

Welcome home! It's so very good to see you again. I've missed you and it's been a loooong two months! You can tell that Tilda's delighted to have you back, too. She's obviously been waiting patiently and she's got the gate open for ya.
