Inventory Reduction Challenge #77 - Use Very Old Stamp

I believe in miracles! Here are two - I have my Inventory Reduction Challenge card done before Friday and I kept track of the supplies and Copics I used to make the card.
Now that you've had time to pick yourselves up off the floor I'll tell you about my card! :D

I would love to welcome our newest team mate Elle.  You can see her fantastic work on her blog
Elle's Creative Journey.

I had done 3 mini craft activities involving stamping.  Two of them at a woman's retreat and one was at our church for Crafty Women meeting.  Kim taught that craft. In July, 2006 I went to my very first Stampin' Up workshop hosted by my dear friend Kim Leach. So this is all her fault and she happily takes all the blame/credit!!  Her birthday is next week and I thought this card would be very fitting.

Here is my card -

I don't remember what stamp set was my very first, but the set And Everything Nice was definitely one of the first few.  I just love the little girls in this set.

I colored the images then trimmed as much of the white as I easily could then glued all of them to the card.  The images are on Cryogen card. The other layers are SU Lucky Limeade, Calypso Coral, Pool Party and Very Vanilla.
The flowers are from my friend Jacque and Wild Orchid Crafts. The pearl swirl is from Prima.
The hollyhocks are colored with RV20 and covered with Flower Soft Sweet Pea.
Copics used:  Girl - R22, 24, E00, 11, R20
                       Hair - E59, 25, 53
                       Kitty - C6, 3, 0
                       Gate - E57, 55, 53, 51
                       Grass - YG 13, 11
                       Stems & leaves - YG 23, 91
                       Flowers - RV02

This designer paper is from SU's Everyday Enchantment.
The lace and charm are from Magnolia. The charm is a dimensional heart with a butterfly in the center.  It looks like the heart flipped over when I set the card up for the pic.

I stitched all the layers together.  I have done sewing on a few cards, but the effect has grown on me and I do like it!

I used a fairly new die to cut these labels - My Favorite Things Die-namics Textile Rectangle.  I inked the edges with Memento Rich Cocoa.  The sentiment is Magnolia stamped in Calypso Coral.  The tiny hearts were cutouts from another label shape I was going to use, but the sentie was too large to fit.  I thought the hearts were too cute to just throw away!

Thank you for stopping by and sharing Kim's birthday with me.  Please take a few minutes to visit my team mates' blogs to see what oldies but goodies they have come up with!!

How adorable Kathy! Your little garden scene is beyond sweet! I love the pearl swirls on the left, which remind me of the wind gently blowing in on Tilda. You've finished off the inside beautifully. Glad you're feeling so much better and able to get a jump on the challenge this week! Hugs...Barb <><
