Last two cards for Diana's contest!

Now I have finished all my cards for Diana's Stamp Club Summer Memories contest.  Of course I left the most difficult ones for last just waiting for some inspiration!

The first card uses Pearl Tilda and Oyster with Pearl background.  I made Tilda sitting on the edge of the oyster shell.  I wanted the shell edge to stand out so I added some 3-D Scribbles Iridescent White Mist paint.  I had a terrible time trying to get the edges even.  Fortunately I could position Tilda so she covered up much of the unevenness.

I found a piece of old lace that looked like shells and added that across the top. Stamped seaweed from the Bon Voyage collection filled in a lot of the "empty space".

The images were colored with Copic markers.  The flower is from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The designer paper is from Magnolia and looks like an underwater scene.  The flowers are water lilies from Hooked on Crafts.  The tag was cut using the Doohickey die Romantic Tag.  The sentiment is another Magnolia stamp.

The last card for the contest was the most difficult.  I just could not figure out what to do with that darned bear!! He is so different from the rest of the stamps.

So here is what I came up with!!

Tilda was enjoying a relaxing moment at home with her teddy bear.  She had no worries, but that was all about to change!  Can you imagine her surprise when she glanced sideways and saw Hobbie peeking over the corner of her couch!?  YIKES!

The window was die cut with the Poppystamps Small Madison Window and mounted over a cutout so you could see to the outside.  The ball fringe is from my stash - the window was too plain without it.  The flowers are from my stash, as are the papers.

I stamped the Barbed Wire Background twice, covering the post on the second image.  It was colored with Copic markers.  The clouds were cut with Memorybox Puffy Clouds and Marshmallow Clouds.  The sentiment panel was done with Nesties Petite Scalloped Ovals.

I think perhaps Hobbie was lonely and decide Tilda looked like a great playmate!

Thanks for stopping by and having a laugh with Tilda and Hobbie!

Huggeroonies,

Kathy, both of your cards are delightful, they are happy and colorful. I love the DP on the first one as it makes her seem if she is in the water. The second one is great too with the window, how cute it Tilda with her bears!
