Preview of Things to Come

After the past few steamy days and high temperatures, I needed to remind myself of what is to come way to soon.

This is looking down our driveway after my husband had left for work.

This is my car and the plow truck.  Obviously it had not been used yet!

The tracks my husband left behind.

"Where did he put all that snow?" you ask.

Here he is plowing it into the side yard to make room for the next accumulation.

This is looking across our deck to the back yard.  Yes, the snow was up to the floor of the deck.

Our dog does her business in the field beyond the barn and trees.  She had to use the plowed area in the yard.  No one could get through there and I wasn't about to shovel a path for her.

This is the yard between our house and our daughter's.  Her house is behind the trees to the left in the picture.

That mess that the snow is covering is seven poplar trees that we had cut down in the fall.

I know, looking at the pictures didn't really help me cool off much either!!

And this is the view of my deck now!

Thanks for stopping by and having a look!!

Oh my goodness. I don't want to think about snow, but I have to admit those are some awesome pictures.

Oh sure, sure, like we wanted to remember the DEEP FREEZE last winter, Kathy - hahahaha!! Well, it does give us thought to be thankful for what we have right now and hopefully, for a bit longer. Great "ending" though, with your gorgeous morning glories -- you do have a green thumb . . . !!!!
Enjoy autumn - I love the colors!

OMG! how beautiful. Living on the Sunshine Coast in Australia is a lot different to this. We are semi tropical so snow is far from us. We are just going into our Summer. I would love to see snow like this.
